Children's Residential ProgramsOur residential programs provide a warm loving atmosphere in which children learn socially acceptable behavior and develop skills for everyday living.  In our teaching homes, individualized programs and therapeutic interventions are implemented by well trained staff.

Children who live in our residential programs typically need help with behavior management, social skills, emotional training, self-help, and community interaction skills.  Our children typically need more supervision or support than can be offered in a parent's or foster family's home.

In order to keep children safe, facilitate individual activities, and help our residents learn skills, we usually provide a ratio of three staff to seven children and limit the number of children served to seven or eight per home.  We have four teaching homes: two are in Denver and two are in Colorado Springs.
